This review is for the official English release, and will contain spoilers. I bought this product because I do my best to support the companies trying to bring Japanese VN to an English-speaking audience, but I sincerely wish I hadn’t paid money to a company that has the balls to do such a shoddy job. It’s as though it went straight from the first draft stage to release, without any editing or quality check in between. There were spelling errors, grammatical errors and translation errors. Not all of it was bad, and it was definitely still readable, but this is NOT what we should be seeing in an official release. Note: There are many spoilers for the game and OAVs on the site, particularly on the Characters page, the Endings and Walkthrough page and the Scenes and Quotes page. But before I begin, I want to mention something about the official English release. This translation is just terrible. Other – A listing of Enzai merchandise, an Enzai quiz and some trivia from the game Yaoi/BL Games – A list of BL game-related links and information on the other BL games available in English Game Credits and Langmaor – A listing of the voice actors and main staff from the game and information on Langmaor and its other games OAVs and Soundtrack – Detailed summaries of the two Enzai OAVs and a track listing of the game’s soundtrack.ĭrama CDs – Summaries/translations of the three Enzai drama CDs Scenes and Quotes – A listing by character of all the game’s romantic and sex scenes and a list of memorable quotes from the game.Įndings and Walkthrough – Descriptions of the game’s eleven endings, a basic walkthrough and decision trees for all of the game’s choices. Updated the information for the game Anima Mundi Dark Alchemist.Ĭharacters – Profiles for all the game’s main characters and connection diagrams concerning the plot’s two conspiracies. Added information and links to the Yaoi/BL Games page for Togainu no Chi, Hadaka Shitsuji and DRAMAtical Murder, three yaoi games that now have English translations. Removed six dead links from the site and added four new links including a Teikoku Sensenki review. Because of this, the images on the Characters page have now been removed. The fansite was first published/created in August 2009 with the link At some stage in spring 2010 it was taken down due to a Digital Millenium Copyright Act complaint regarding the images on the Characters page. The English language version of the game can be purchased on websites such as the following:, and United Publications. Some of the graphics in the American version are edited to remove the actual urine in the urolagnia scenes (although the dialogue, description and sound effects are the same), the ages of the characters have all been raised to at least 18 years old and the pixel censorship has been removed. On the 20th April 2007 it was re-released in Japan at a lower price and with different cover art.

The game was released in Japan on the 13th September 2002 and in America on the 31st January 2006 by JAST USA. The main objective of the game is then to get Guys out of prison by gathering enough evidence to prove him innocent of the crime while keeping him sane in the face of constant abuse and torture from the prison guards and inmates. The story is of Guys, a juvenile delinquent who is falsely charged with murder and sent to prison for life. It is set in nineteenth century France though this is almost never mentioned in-game (and the only way one would likely find it out is by reading the blurb or an article such as this).

Enzai - Falsely Accused is a Yaoi game/visual novel and the first of its kind ever released in English.
